Message in a Bottle -- I'll send an SOS to the World
Fundraiser: Eric Sorensen
Once again, I’m hopping on my bike June 5th (soon) to raise money for cancer research. Unfortunately, cancer affects all of us. We have all lost family and friends or know someone currently battling cancer. I will be riding in the Loire Valley, in France to raise money for cancer research.
To remember my sister April, I will send a “Message in a Bottle” and she loved Sting and The Police. I would encourage you to send a note for who you want to remember, and I will put that “Message in a Bottle” and send it off to sea at the end of our ride! Who do you want to honor?
So, send me your message and it goes in the bottle! “I will send an SOS to the World”. (Post your message when you donate on the site, email me, telegram, fax, morse code all accepted)
- About the Ride: Three friends from Oak Park will ride seven days what is called “The Garden” of France. We start in Orleans and carry our bags and ride to the sea along the Loire River, pedaling 40-50 miles per day.
- About the Cause: I am raising money for Cycle for Survival, the movement to beat rare cancers. ”Cycle” was started by my friend David Linn who lost his wife Jennifer to cancer about 20 years ago. This one vision/idea of cycling for rare cancers has raised more than $450 Million dollars!! I have ridden for Cycle many times and believe in the mission.
- 100% of Your Donation Supports Sloan Kettering Rare Cancer Research.
Thank you for your generosity and support over the year! Together, we will BEAT cancer!
