Welcome to my fundraising page! I’m taking on the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon with Fred’s Team, the official running program of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). My goal is to raise as much as I can to support groundbreaking cancer research at MSK, and your donation will give me a boost as I train for my race.

September 21, 2021 - I finally received the news I had been dreading. “The results of your pathology show it is a cancerous tumor.” The words viscerally consumed me. They repeated in my mind like a broken record that I couldn’t shut off. Mentally in shambles with a constant fear of death, I felt as if all the color in the world had been stripped from me. I found myself overwhelmed with the thought of all my opportunities and aspirations never coming true - never being seen to fruition.

Then along came MSK. From the surgeons, to the oncologists, the nurses, and even the sanitation staff - no matter where I turned I was surrounded by the kindest and most skilled individuals offering nothing but support. An entire team dedicated to me. Pessimism was rapidly replaced by optimism and the world was repainted with color.

As I embark on my 5th year post diagnosis, I look back thinking how lucky I am to have received the best care possible, and all I find myself wanting to do to celebrate is to help someone else get their own second chance on life. Which is why I will be running the 2026 New York City Marathon for FRED’S TEAM - raising funds and awareness for critical Cancer Research, with the hope of finding a cure for all Cancers. Every dollar counts!
