This year, my sister Bella and I are running the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon together with Fred’s Team in honor of my dad, and in honor of every family that has been impacted by cancer. It will be her first marathon, which makes this journey even more special for us to take on together.

When I was eight years old, I lost my dad, Dave Euerle, to cancer. He was a firefighter, fitness enthusiast, and someone who deeply valued health, family, faith, and helping others. Losing him at such a young age shaped my life in ways I’m still discovering today, and the fight against cancer has always held deep personal meaning for me.

As part of this experience, I want to carry more than just my own “why” with me on race day. If you choose to donate, I’d love to invite you to share the name of someone you’re honoring or remembering through your donation. I will write those names on the shoes I wear for the marathon so that every mile represents the stories, memories, and people we run for together.

I’m honored to be running with Fred’s Team, the official running program of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. 100% of funds raised go directly toward groundbreaking cancer research at MSK to help advance treatments and bring hope to patients and families everywhere.
