Emma Jane Andrus
Welcome to my fundraising page! I’m taking on the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon with Fred’s Team, the official running program of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). My goal is to raise as much as I can to support groundbreaking rare cancer research at MSK, and your donation will give me a boost as I train for my race.
I decided to join Fred's Team to honor my dad. During January of 2025 he received lifesaving treatment from MSK enabling him more time with us, attending my graduation and helping me move across the country. My das has always been my biggest supporter. From modified cross country in middle school to NEWMACs for the Coast Guard Academy he showed up. Even during his first cancer treatment in 2019 he still showed up to the track to cheer.
Fred's Team also raises money for pediatric cancer research at MSK. I am also running this marathon in memory of my high school friend Yeva. Yeva was diagnosed with cancer in high school and treated at Dana Farber hospital in Boston before passing away in 2023. Yeva's friendship, faith, kindness and strength have always inspired me. I am running this marathon to honor her memory and raise money for rare cancer research.
It means so much to me and my family that I can run the NYC marathon while supporting cancer research. MSK supports families around the country.
100% of Your Donation Supports Research
Named in honor of New York City Marathon co-founder and MSK patient Fred Lebow, Fred’s Team brings together passionate runners and supporters to lead the way against cancer. 100% of the funds I raise will go directly into MSK labs, where doctors and scientists have expertise in more than 400 types of cancer and work every day to find new cures.
Donate Today!
When you make a gift to Fred’s Team, you help MSK researchers develop better treatment options for the people who need them most. Together, we can make a big difference.
Thank you for your generosity!
