Lauren Spiezia
On November 1, I'm running the TCS New York City Marathon with Fred's Team for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
I'm a breast cancer survivor, and MSK is where I was treated. I'm here today because of the doctors, nurses, and scientists who make that place what it is. Running 26.2 miles is a small way to say thank you and to give back to an institution whose contributions to cancer research have changed what's possible for patients everywhere.
I'm also running for my son. His newborn cry inspired the name of my company, Laklak. Building something for the next generation means investing in the world they'll grow up in, and that starts with the research that keeps more parents around to see it.
100% of Your Donation Supports Research
Every dollar you give goes directly to MSK labs, where doctors and scientists work across more than 400 types of cancer to find better treatments and, one day, cures.
How You Can Help
Any amount makes a difference. Share this page, cheer me on race day, or make a gift. Thank you for being part of this.
