Welcome to my fundraising page! I’m taking on the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon with Fred’s Team, the official running program of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). My goal is to raise as much as I can to support groundbreaking cancer research at MSK, and your donation will give me a boost as I train for my race.

In July of 2023, my mom was diagnosed with Her2+ breast cancer. Without hesitation, we knew that Memorial Sloan Kettering was where she was going to go for treatment. In September of 2023 she underwent surgery at the Manhattan location and then went through chemotherapy and radiation out of the location in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Throughout the entire process, we worked with so many incredible doctors and nurses, who took the time and care to make sure that we knew exactly what to expect every step of the way. Even though I am an adult, finding out that my mom had cancer was one of the scariest things I have ever had to think about, but knowing that she was under the care of the doctors at MSK brought me such a sense of peace and reassurance because I knew she was being taken care of by the best in the business.

In addition to my mom having cancer, Multiple Myeloma is present in my family history on my dad’s side. My dad has also begun meeting with doctors from MSK to monitor his blood tests. It, again brought me and our family a tremendous amount of comfort knowing that he was being monitored by such incredible doctors.

Being a part of Fred’s Team gives me the honor raise money for an organization that has not only saved my mom's life, but one that will be able to help my Dad if he moves out of the precancerous stage. I hope that I am fortunate enough to not have either of these diagnoses as time goes on, but if I do, I know that MSK is the only place I would trust.
