Elizabeth Straus
I’m taking on my first marathon, the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon with Fred’s Team, the official running program of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK).
MSK provided cutting edge and life saving treatment for my Dad, when other leading academic medical centers would not. So many are not as fortunate as my Dad. Everyone who receives a cancer diagnosis deserves the world class care that he receives there. What makes MSK unique is their phenomenal researchers and their dedication to translating research into clinical practice on a daily basis.
Running helped me cope when we were in NYC when my dad was first treated at MSK, and so it is very special to be able to run through the streets of NYC again to raise funds for MSK research.
100% of Your Donation Supports Research
Named in honor of New York City Marathon co-founder and MSK patient Fred Lebow, Fred’s Team brings together passionate runners and supporters to lead the way against cancer. 100% of the funds I raise will go directly into MSK labs, where doctors and scientists have expertise in more than 400 types of cancer and work every day to find new cures.
Donate Today!
When you make a gift to Fred’s Team, you help MSK researchers develop better treatment options for the people who need them most. Together, we can make a big difference.
Thank you for your generosity!
