This year, I am honored to be running the TCS New York City Marathon with Fred’s Team to raise money for cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK).

Cancer has touched the lives of so many of us. Whether it’s a family member, friend, coworker, or neighbor, most people know someone who has faced this difficult journey.

When my mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, I saw firsthand the strength, courage, and resilience required to fight this disease. Like many families, I wanted to do everything I could to help.

That is why I’m running.

Every mile I run is dedicated to my mother and to all those who have faced a cancer diagnosis.

By supporting this fundraiser, you are helping provide doctors and researchers with the resources they need to discover new treatments, answer cancer’s biggest questions, and improve outcomes for patients and families everywhere.

Training for 26.2 miles is a challenge, but it is nothing compared to the challenges cancer patients face every day. I am grateful for the opportunity to turn my miles into meaningful support for a cause that is so close to my heart.
