We’re Steve and Laura, and this year we’re taking on the TCS New York City Marathon together as part of Fred’s Team.
Steve’s diagnosis with acute myeloid leukemia in 2025 came as a real shock, and it made for a challenging year—but it also gave us perspective. Through it all, running—and the incredible community that comes with it—became a huge source of support, structure, and positivity when we needed it most. Now, we feel incredibly lucky to be in a position to take on something as big as this together.
We’re running to raise money for leukemia research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center—a cause that’s deeply personal to us. Every mile is about giving back, supporting future breakthroughs, and helping others facing similar challenges.
