Bryan Cross made Big Plans. Run a Marathon. Travel the world. Golf. Watch the Cubbies in the World Series. Convince your best friend to train with a rucksack. Be the best Girl Dad Ever. Fulfill a lifelong dream and teach high school math. It was a joy and privilege to be a footprint in Bry's Big Plans. It was an even greater joy and privilege to just laugh with him (he was the MOST fun).
Sadly, on May 20, 2026, Cancer took Bryan from us. Cancer was not in Bry's Big Plans and losing him was not in ours. There was so much more live to live, laughs to have, and ENORMOUS Bryan Bear Hugs to receive. Nobody wanted this. So what can you do to help fill that gaping hole of loss?
We March Forth for the most awesome guy born on March Fourth.
In Bry's honor we are making a Big Plan, knowing full well he is running alongside us (and laughing in some ridiculous sweatband): Josh (Bryan's Quarterback and Best Friend) and Molly (Bryan's Little Sister) are running the 2026 NYC Marathon with Fred's Team, the official running program of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) where Bryan received his treatment with Dr. Sherman's head and neck cancer team.
Our goal is to raise as much as we can to support groundbreaking cancer research at MSK, and your donation will give us a boost as we train for our race.
