Spencer Catauro
We are incredibly honored to be running the 2026 NYC Marathon in memory of my father, Carl Catauro, who passed away on December 25, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with kidney cancer. Throughout every step of that journey, Memorial Sloan Kettering was not only by his side, but by my family’s side as well. The care, compassion, and unwavering commitment they showed our family is something I will never forget.
My dad was truly one of a kind. He had a way of walking into a room and instantly making everyone feel better just by being there — through his smile, his laugh, and his presence. Losing him has left a hole that can never be filled, but it is an absolute honor for me and my team to run this marathon in his memory.
We are proud to be running with Fred’s Team and raising money for Memorial Sloan Kettering so that other families can experience the same extraordinary care and support that meant so much to us during such a difficult time.
If you would like to honor my dad’s memory and support this incredible cause, any contribution would mean the world to us. Thank you for being here and for supporting us on this journey.
