Stephen Poole
Last year, I was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, and thanks to successful treatment, I’m now able to look ahead with real gratitude. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for the importance of ongoing leukemia research and the impact it has on patients and families. Running the TCS New York City Marathon with Fred’s Team is my way of giving back—supporting the work being done at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to advance treatments and improve outcomes. Every mile I run is for those still fighting and for a future with better options for everyone facing leukemia.
