I can't believe it's been nearly 2 years since we lost Shanna to metatastic breast cancer.  Not a day goes by that I do not think of her and miss her.  

Shanna fought a long hard battle with metatastic breast cancer for nearly 8 years.  We were always hoping there would be a new medicine/procedure, etc. to help her and cure her.  She knew all the trials and research being done and I was sure one would help her.  Unfortunately that was not the case.

Last year, Shanna's friends and family raised nearly $170,000 towards the research in helping find a cure for metatastic breast cancer.  Spencer and I will be participating again in a tennis fundraiser to honor the amazing friend and person Shanna was, and to help raise money to continue to fight this horrible disease.  Hopefully in the future noone will have to lose their life at such a young age.
