    Welcome to My Fundraising Page

As you may know, my sister passed away in August 2020 from metastatic breast cancer. Metastatic breast cancer is extremely underfunded and rarely discussed when it comes to breast cancer. 100% of breast cancer deaths occur because of metastasis and 40,000 lives are lost every year. Less than 5% of research funds support metastasis.

Shanna made it very clear to me that her passion was to stop this disease. She went above and beyond with all forms of philanthropic efforts: traditional funding, artwork proceeds (https://www.artpal.com/shanna_joseph), book proceeds (Sincerely Shanna, https://www.amazon.com/Sincerely-Shanna-Chose-Wanted-Memoir/dp/1630504564) and formation a not for profit fund to continue in the battle today.

Today, I ask you to help continue in my big sister's wishes and fight metastatic breast cancer. This month, we are launching our second annual tennis fundraiser and are determined to raise as much money as possible for Shanna’s memorial fund. Shanna loved the tennis court and kicked ass on it. Now it’s time to kick metastatic breast cancer’s ass!

All proceeds raised will support metastatic breast cancer research, specifically Shanna’s oncologist, Dr. Larry Norton and his metastatic breast cancer research team. Shanna tried many drugs and trials. She was able to live for 8 years because of the research. I hoped that one of these trials would cure her. Unfortunately, the cure wasn’t there yet.

I pray that no one else suffers from this terrible disease. Nor should any family have to suffer the pain of losing a loved one.

We appreciate every dollar. We know we can make a difference together.
