Paddle for Pink
Diane Gibbons was a radiant soul who deeply cared for the people who knew her, a loving wife to her husband Frank, and the most special mother to her three girls. Since she was a little girl she soaked up all things Seaside Park - the salt air, ocean waves, and the sun. Everything this town has to offer was to be appreciated. When Frank and Diane built their dream home in Seaside Park, she named the house ‘Sea To Skye’ an ode to two of her favorite things this house would allow her to appreciate even more deeply (and a nod to her Scottish roots).
Join us on June 18, 2022 to honor her life and celebrate the things she loved most. This event is a tribute to the person Diane was, the things she appreciated, and the legacy she left. We don’t think she could have asked for much more than a summer day in Seaside Park with her loved ones and a Bruce Springsteen tribute band to dance the night away with. So that’s just what we’re doing and we know her spirit will shine on us through the sun all day long.
The Gibbons Family is forever grateful to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for prolonging Diane’s life as long as they did and caring for so many other families and their loved ones. 100% of ticket sales and separate donations will benefit Metastatic Breast Cancer Research at MSK.
