Event Name: Mustaches for Kids 2023
Greetings!
It is once again the time of year that a group of committed indivuduals do their best to grow fuzzy upper lips to raise money for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Monies raised go to programs to help families having difficulty with costs associated with their loved one's care. Examples of this might be fees not covered by insurance or costs associated with family members staying close to their loved ones while they are receiving treatment.
The world seems to be in a state of chaos and constant change, unfortunately not for the better. The unimaginable horrors taking place in Israel, the ongoing war in Ukraine, and the manner in which our Congress is now at a standstill without a Speaker of the House affects us all in one way or another regardless of what side of the aisle we are on.
Sadly, one thing that has remained constant is cancer and its impact on those diagnosed and their families.
And so I am once again reaching out to you and asking for a donation of whatever you can afford to help us in this worthwhile cause. Just hit the donate link to contribute whatever you can.
Mustaches for Kids will run through October and end on Saturday November 4 for the final Stash Bash Gala Celebration. This will be held at JJ Coopers in Long Beach Saturday November 4th from 1pm to 4pm. This fun family friendly event will include music, food, drink, and raffles to serve as the final fundraising event of the season. All are invited. Tickets are $60 per person. If you'd like to attend I will arrange for tickets for you which must be paid for in cash. Just let me know at Jkup318@aol.com and we can work that out.
With all that is going on in the world this is a great opportunity to show our love, kindness, and compassion.
Thank you in advance for anything you can do to help.
My best to you and your families.
Jeff
