Event Name: Gotham Gymnastics Handstand Walk
Hello,
I've created this page to raise funds for research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), and I hope you'll consider joining the cause by making a donation. Many of the most important breakthroughs in cancer research and treatment have been made at MSK, and none of that progress would have been possible without support from people like you and me.
On October 5th, I will be participating in a Handstand Walk for Kids Challenge to support pediatric cancer research. My teammates and I will compete to walk the most miles on our hands to honor children cancer survivors, those in treatment, and those we lost too soon.
Because 100% of your gift will go directly to Memorial Sloan Kettering Kids, every dollar I raise gives doctors and researchers what they need to make discoveries in the lab that become new and better treatment options for all children, teens, and young adults with cancer.
Handstand Walk for Kids is a movement uniting athletes in the fight against pediatric cancers. When Covid made a traditional 1000+ person walk in Central Park not possible, gymnasts harnessed energy in a way gymnasts know best, flipping the concept of kids walking, upside down, literally!
You can make your 100% tax deductible gift by clicking "donate" on this page. Together, more progress and hope are possible each year. Donate $1 or a zillion -- it all adds up.
100% OF YOUR GIFT SUPPORTS RESEARCH
Every dollar donated goes directly to doctors and researchers. Their work has led to FDA approval of new drugs and other breakthroughs that impact kids and families, not just at MSK Kids but around the world.
In fact, much of the most promising new research can't even begin without donations from individuals. In most cases, it's only after real potential has been demonstrated by early studies — studies our support has funded — that government funding for this work becomes possible.
Too many of us know people who have faced a cancer diagnosis, and sometimes it's hard to know how we can make a difference. One of the most effective ways is to make sure the crucial work being done at MSK continues to have the support it needs to drive it forward. I've created this page because I'm determined to do my part to help.
When the next new breakthrough is announced, I want to know that I have played a part in making it happen, and it would mean so much to me if you would join me in this effort. Every dollar counts, so I hope you will be as generous as you can.
Thank you!
Love- Bella
