To expand our funding we are teaming up with Veronica Beard, and donating 10% of all sales. Please join us on Tuesday, August 29 from 2 to 5 Manhasset location! If you cannot make the event, you can still help us achieve our goal and donate on this page on the link below!
Handstand walk for kids is the movement to beat pediatric cancer by raising money for pediatric cancer research at MSK kids, which benefits children across the globe.
100% of every dollar goes to fighting pediatric cancers through research and new discoveries at MSK Kids, Memorial Sloan Kettering’s pediatric program. Only 4-5% of the National Cancer Institute’s budget is dedicated to researching pediatric cancers. Doctors and researchers, and thereby children, rely on the generosity of donors to make up the difference where the Handstand Walk with Eloise community comes in!
Caryn my former gymnast, now a mother of 3 eldest daughter, Eloise was diagnosed with cancer. We needed to help!
Owning a gymnastics school filled with 100’s of children and After meeting with Caryn and hearing her story about her daughter, Eloise, and how she is a survivor, my gymnasts became the founding captains, and created a fun way to spread awareness of pediatric cancer!
With A team handstand relay competition we were uniting all athletes from all sports from the recreational level to the NCAA collegiate level in the fight against pediatric cancers!
Pediatric cancer research is vastly underfunded, yet we know too many kids and families that are affected. Click on the link below or see you Tuesday!created this page to raise funds for research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), and I hope you'll consider joining the cause by making a donation.
Many of the most important breakthroughs in cancer research and treatment have been made at MSK, and none of that progress would have been possible without support from people like you and me.
In fact, much of the most promising new research can't even begin without donations from individuals. In most cases, it's only after real potential has been demonstrated by early studies — studies our support has funded — that government funding for this work becomes possible.
Too many of us know people who have faced a cancer diagnosis, and sometimes it's hard to know how we can make a difference. One of the most effective ways is to make sure the crucial work being done at MSK continues to have the support it needs to drive it forward. I've created this page because I'm determined to do my part to help.
When the next new breakthrough is announced, I want to know that I have played a part in making it happen, and it would mean so much to me if you would join me in this effort. Every dollar counts, so I hope you will be as generous as you can.
Thank you!
