Hi- it's me! Your favorite anti-smoking rapper.
This year, I'm being ambitious and trying to raise $2k for a cause I care so much about. Through DIY for a Cure, we've shared the stories of Donald and Chase. I feel honored to have heard their stories and be great friends with both of their mothers.
But my experience with childhood cancer started in 2014, when my sister was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. A form of childhood cancer that effects the bones. And although she was a young adult, she spent all her time in the pediatric unit, getting the same treatments as the children there. And let me tell you, I cannot believe what she had to endure, and an even more shocked that those were the only treatment options for children. I'm happy to say that over a decade later, my sister is well. We got to watch her become a wife and a mother. And it breaks my heart that others weren't so lucky in their journey.
I'm dedicated to finding better options for our kids by getting funding to the researchers who are almost never paid enough for their scientific advances in this world. Help me reach my goal!
