Nick was diagnosed with Lynch Syndrome at 20 years old and endured a battle with cancer for over 10 years. Despite his lengthy battle, he never complained and always looked for the positive in every situation. His strength and courage was contagious. He was the ultimate fighter and would want nothing more than to help others with this disease continue to fight.

LYNCH SNYDROME

Lynch syndrome is a condition caused by hereditary mutations in your genes. A hereditary mutation is a gene change that one or both of your parents passed down to you before you were born. These genes normally help prevent cancers. Lynch syndrome causes these genes to stop working, increasing your risk of getting colorectal, endometrial, and other cancers.
