Ironman for Survival - Triple Matched Donations until midnight tonight!

This Sunday, 7/23, I will be taking on the Ironman in Lake Placid, NY. While the look of pride in my kiddos eyes when I (hopefully) cross that finish line is reason enough, this time I’d like to go a step further and contribute to the fight against cancer through MSK Giving*.

My first encounter with the devastating impact of cancer was when I lost my nana at the age of 12. She was only 62, and was the last of my living grandparents. Since then, the past 18 months alone have brought the loss of both a dear uncle and cousin. There are also several people I care about currently fighting. I know I’m not alone. Cancer shows no mercy; it strikes the generous, the loving, and the otherwise healthy without discrimination.

So this Sunday I will race in memory of those who have passed, for those who continue to fight, and as a heartfelt expression of gratitude for the health of my loved ones. I invite you to join me in this crucial fight!
