Unfinished Business
My good friend Bob Salerno and I started walking to Hasbrouck Heights football games over ten years ago. He and I would choose the furthest game as a fundraiser to support different causes such as Children's Autism.
This is one of the very few locations that we did not walk to. We were supposed to do it in 2016, but something came up & we had to drive to that game.
When Bob passed away in December of 2021, he requested that donations be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering.
This August 31st, I will be walking twenty miles from Hasbrouck Heights to Pompton Lakes for a football game against the Cardinals to raise funds and awareness for the institution. I want to get the word out that no one should ever give up fighting.
