Elizabeth Scott
Dear friends and family,
I’m taking on the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon with Fred’s Team, the official running program of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). My goal is to raise $6000 to support groundbreaking cancer research at MSKCC. My last full marathon was back in 2013, so I have lots of work ahead of me, but somehow I am looking forward to it. 26.2 miles through the 5 boroughs of NYC is a joy, as long as I can get through the training without injury!
100% of Your Donation Supports Research
Named in honor of New York City Marathon co-founder and MSK patient Fred Lebow, Fred’s Team brings together passionate runners and supporters to lead the way against cancer. 100% of the funds I raise will go directly into MSK labs, where doctors and scientists have expertise in more than 400 types of cancer and work every day to find new cures.
Donate Today!
When you make a gift to Fred’s Team, you help MSK researchers develop better treatment options for the people who need them most. Together, we can make a big difference.
I run in memory of my Dad and so many others in my family who passed away from cancer, and in honor of so many more who have or still are fighting. Lastly, I run as a grateful survivor, now about 7 years out from my breast cancer.
Thank you for your generosity!
cheers and take care,
Elizabeth
