Patricia Palmer
Welcome to my fundraising page! I’m taking on the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon with Fred’s Team, the official running program of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). My goal is to raise as much as I can to support groundbreaking cancer research at MSK, and your donation will give me a boost as I train for my race.
As many of you know, my husband, JJ, lost a valient battle against Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) earlier this year, after previously overcoming esophogeal cancer three years ago. Prior to his death, he was in the process of having his treatment transferred to MSK. I am running this year's New York City Marathon in JJ's memory and to raise money for MSK to further cancer research so no one else has to feel the heartache of losing an incredible spouse, parent, child and friend. I am fortunate to have this opportunity to honor JJ's memory by channeling my grief into miles and carrying his spirit with me across the finish line in Central Park.
100% of Your Donation Supports Research
Named in honor of New York City Marathon co-founder and MSK patient Fred Lebow, Fred’s Team brings together passionate runners and supporters to lead the way against cancer. 100% of the funds I raise will go directly into MSK labs, where doctors and scientists have expertise in more than 400 types of cancer and work every day to find new cures.
Donate Today!
When you make a gift to Fred’s Team, you help MSK researchers develop better treatment options for the people who need them most. Together, we can make a big difference.
Thank you for your generosity!
