Welcome to my fundraising page! I’m taking on the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon with Fred’s Team, the official running program of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). My goal is to raise as much as I can to support groundbreaking EGFR Lung cancer research at MSK- and your donation will give my miles a beneficiary.

Two years ago I was diagnosed with stage IV EGFR lung cancer. It’s a form of non-small cell lung cancer caused by a mutation in the EGFR gene — treatable, but not curable. As a 39-year-old non-smoker, avid runner, and someone who’s passionate about healthy living, that diagnosis felt like the ground disappearing under my feet. And yet, even in that shock, I found hope. The care and compassion I’ve received at MSK — and God — have allowed me to maintain a high quality of life and continue running while being treated.

There are no reliable screening tests today for early detection of EGFR lung cancer, leading to late-stage diagnosis’. Fundraising for MSK — specifically for my Dr., Dr. Helena Yu’s EGFR lung cancer research — matters to me because that work is the reason I’m here. With your help it’s the research that could move the needle from “treatable” to “curable.”
