Andrew Dixon
Welcome to my fundraising page! I’m taking on the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon with Fred’s Team, the official running program of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). My goal is to raise as much as I can to support groundbreaking cancer research at MSK, and your donation will give me a boost as I train for my race.
Why am I running?
Besides finally answering that age-old question – Does a beer really taste that much better after running 26.2 miles? – I’m running the New York City Marathon for a few deeply meaningful reasons.
My first time attending the marathon was in 2024 supporting my friend Joe. I was blown away by the energy of the crowd and how emotional it felt to cheer on every single person who set out to complete this incredible challenge.
I had hoped to compete in the 2025 marathon, but I unfortunately injured myself during training. The setback was definitely disappointing, but has given me even more motivation to work myself back into shape. This year, I'll have the honor of running for the same organization Joe supported: Memorial Sloan Kettering. MSK is also where my grandfather received such compassionate care. Being able to give back to them, even in this small way, is motivation enough for me to take on this challenge.
If you’re able, please consider donating to support MSK’s incredible work. Every dollar goes toward life-saving research and care for patients and families.
100% of Your Donation Supports Research
Named in honor of New York City Marathon co-founder and MSK patient Fred Lebow, Fred’s Team brings together passionate runners and supporters to lead the way against cancer. 100% of the funds I raise will go directly into MSK labs, where doctors and scientists have expertise in more than 400 types of cancer and work every day to find new cures.
Donate Today!
When you make a gift to Fred’s Team, you help MSK researchers develop better treatment options for the people who need them most. Together, we can make a big difference.
Thank you for your generosity!
