Let’s Imagine a World Without Cancer
Welcome to Nathan's Team's fundraising page! We’re taking on the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon with Fred’s Team, the official running program of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK).
We are running to celebrate our dads, Mickey and Stu's, 5-year cancer-free milestone, and to honor our brave son/grandson/nephew, Nathan, who lost his nearly 10 year fight with cancer in December, 2020. They are all an inspiration (this will be Mickey's 14th marathon at nearly 80 yrs old!) and serve as our forever reminder of why this fight is so important. No child should be taken so soon, or made to endure such suffering without viable treatment options and hope for a bright future; and every family should get 2nd chances for more good years and cherished memories with their loved ones.
100% of Your Donation Supports Research
Named in honor of New York City Marathon co-founder and MSK patient Fred Lebow, Fred’s Team brings together passionate runners and supporters to lead the way against cancer. 100% of the funds we raise will go directly into MSK labs, where doctors and scientists have expertise in more than 400 types of cancer and work every day to find new cures.
Specifically, our fundraising will support the amazing work of Dr. Daniel Heller, Head of the Cancer Nanotechnology Laboratory at MSK, which invents disruptive technologies to revolutionize the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. More information on Dr. Heller's lab can be found here: https://www.mskcc.org/research/ski/labs/daniel-heller
Donate Today!
With your gift to Nathan's Team, you will directly help Dr. Heller and MSK researchers to develop new treatment options for the people who need them most. Together, we can make a big difference.
Thank you for your generosity!
