Anne Corwin
Paul Mark Corwin, 68, died on March 15 at home in New York City, from complications of gastroesophageal cancer. After being diagnosed with cancer in 2021, he was cared for by a skilled and compassionate team at MSK led by Dr. Yelena Y. Janjigian and Dr. Daniela Molena.
After his initial treatments concluded in the spring of 2022, he returned to the many things that filled his life: art, music, and theatre; hobbies too numerous to name; travels to Paris, Maine, and the Caribbean; paddles in his kayak; the wedding of his beloved nephew, David; an active spiritual life at Park Avenue Synagogue; a bustling law practice; and pizza parties with his adored grandchildren, Zev, Gideon, Liza, and Leigh.
After experiencing additional symptoms in January 2023, Paul was cared for by innumerable physicians, nurses, and therapists at Memorial Hospital, to whom we are thankful for their capable care, and grace in supporting our family.
Your gift to MSK will make a direct impact on patients like Paul, by funding innovative research and cancer treatment and care that patients receive every day.
