I wish you all the peace and joy that the holiday season brings and continue to keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers as we remain hopeful for our continued safety and well-being.
This time of year, we often reflect on how fortunate we are, but we must also remember those whose lives have been overshadowed with illness – especially the children at MSK Kids, Memorial Sloan Kettering’s pediatric program. The recent health crises over the last few years have reminded us of the importance of philanthropy, and I humbly ask that you join me in making a meaningful contribution to the 35th Annual Holiday Drive to support MSK Kids’ Child Life Services Program. Your generosity will help make the holiday season a joyful and memorable time for these children and young adults.
Your donations this past year were used towards purchasing multimedia entertainment systems for educational video games and movies, computer systems at the bedside for inpatients, supplies for virtual craft workshops and STEM activities, and even virtual dance, birthday, and holiday parties. Your continued dedication allows MSK Kids to provide patients and their families with engaging and positive recreational activities, all while keeping them safe and giving them the opportunity to just be kids!
Your support makes a tremendous difference in the lives of many of the young patients battling cancer every day. I’m filled with joy each time I see how our gifts not only transform a child’s holiday season into something truly magical but also make each child’s day that much better. Please remember the children and their families in your prayers this holiday season. Your ongoing commitment, given in the spirit of the season, has a special meaning that lasts throughout the year.
Thank you on behalf of all the children who will benefit from your generosity. Your support is crucial in making 2024 another special year for our children. May this season’s simple joys be with you always just as you bring joy to the children who need it most.
With gratiude,
Jenny Demonte
