    In Memory of Harriet Fier

    Dear Friends and Family,

We are heartbroken to share that our mom, Harriet Fier, passed away Wednesday, February 21st, after an almost 20 year battle with cancer. We are devastated and miss her terribly.

Please join us to celebrate her life at a memorial service on Friday, March 2nd at 9:30am. The service will be held at Plaza Community Chapel (630 Amsterdam Ave, New York, NY). After the service, you're invited to join us at Trattoria Dell'Arte (900 7th Ave, New York, NY) for food and drinks. All are welcome, and please help us spread the word.

In lieu of flowers, we encourage you to make a donation in our mom's name to support the research and work of Dr. James Young at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Young is a Hematologic Oncologist focusing on treatments and research for blood and marrow stem cell transplantation, leukemia and other blood cancers, lymphoma and multiple myeloma. He first came into our lives when treating our dad in the mid-90s, and he has a been a friend and source of guidance to our family ever since. We would be grateful to have you join us in supporting his work.

You can donate online here or mail checks payable to: Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Attn: Elliott Pollock, 885 Second Ave, 7th Fl., New York, NY 10017. If sending by mail, please indicate on the check that the gift is in memory of Harriet Fier.

    All our love,
    Laura and Will Mantell
