Janine Lynch
As many may know, Dr. John Healey has stepped down as Chief of the Orthopaedic Surgery service after a record tenure of 32 years at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. During that time, he transformed a small, orphan sub-specialty service in Oncology into one of the world’s premier and leading Orthopaedic Oncology programs in the world. In his honor, the department of Orthopaedics would like to develop an annual Visiting Professorship lecture.
Our goal is to raise the necessary funding to create and host a series of lectures over several years. As previous fellows mentored under Dr. Healey, we hope you will consider helping us fund this program as a tribute to his many contributions to this discipline. All donations are tax-deductible with 0% IDC, allowing your full donation to be used solely for this designation. Suggested donations of $1,000 are welcomed, with the goal of raising $80,000—which enables this annual event to last for years to come.
