Megan Geyer
Monica fought with grace, dignity and strength for 17 years against her cancer. Memorial Sloan Kettering was with her every step of the way and gave her family more time with her than we thought we would have. She endured biopsies, surgeries, multiple rounds of radiation, and chemotherapy all so she could be here to spend more time with her family. She was a loving, kind, selfless individual who cared more for others than she did for how much pain she was in. She maintained a positive outlook and could always see the good side of anything. Even while undergoing her own treatments, she would always say that others were in worse pain than her or that she wasn't in more pain than she could handle. She was an incredible woman who we should all aspire to be like.
Monica was thankful for all that MSK did for her, the care she received, the personal relationships she formed, and the unwavering support of the medical staff. This is why she wanted us to donate directly to MSK in memory and honor of her.
When you give to MSK, you're making a direct impact: from innovative research that can move newly discovered drugs into clinical trials, to the cancer treatment and care patients receive every day.
Donations lead to important and life-changing breakthroughs in cancer research—making it possible for scientists to overcome the hurdles of funding gaps. Philanthropy provides the tools they need to swiftly pursue promising research initiatives.
Together, we can join the leaders in cancer research by funding a future with better outcomes for people with cancer and their families—not just at MSK, but around the world.
Thank you for your support in honor of our amazing wife, mother, and Nana.
With Love and Gratitude,
The Rauchbach Family
