Dear Friends and Colleagues,

As we celebrate this season of giving and gratitude, we request that you join us in donating to Memorial Sloan Kettering's Child Life Services team within it's MSK Kids pediatric cancer program.

November brings both joy and sorrow to our family as we celebrate the 13 years our daughter Jasmine graced our lives with jokes, laughter and creativity, but also remember the day she passed away after a long struggle with bone cancer.

Cancer treatment is a difficult process, but even more so for children. The inability to attend school instantly separates them from their closest friends. Jasmine, too, faced this pain. But MSK Kids Child Life Services team was there to lighten her journey with recreational activities.

The MSK Kids recreation center enables children to play together with puzzles, board and video games, as well as arts and crafts. The pandemic introduced virtual experiences for both inpatient and outpatient children as well. These activities include “Lego Wars”, craft workshops, STEM activities, Bingo, Pictionary and even virtual dance parties.
