From a cancer care perspective, Memorial Sloan Kettering helped Elaine overcome multiple bouts of cancer over the last ten years, with a level of excellence and compassion rarely seen elsewhere. 

Additionally, recent developments in cancer treatments afforded her an opportunity to extend a high quality of life for part of this past year.
