In Memory of Donald ("the Judge") Buchalter
Thank you so much for visiting this page to make a donation in Donald Buchalter's memory.
As many of you know, Donald battled prostate cancer since he was diagnosed in 1992. In addition to surgery and radiation when he was initially diagnosed, Donald benefited from the groundbreaking research of Dr. Michael Morris at MSKCC. His future treatments would include hormone therapy, chemotherapy, radiation (again), immunotherapy and finally a trial of genetic therapy. In addition, Dr. Morris was able to analyze his cancer progress through new and innovative imaging techniques. Lastly, the supportive oncology/palliative care team at MSKCC helped make his final months more comfortable.
Because of all of these treatments, Donald was able to continue to spend time with his family, travel, play golf and work, up until recently. All of his family and friends were blessed to have him in their lives for so much longer than we might have had him.
Sadly, after 29 years, Donald lost the battle but his memory and love of life lives on with all of us. Please contribute to help others fight what is often a lifelong battle with this type of cancer.
Thank you in advance for any contribution you decide to make.
From his adoring family,
Judy Buchalter
