On August 9, 2020 I received the devestating news that my staff member Imma Mercado had passed away.  Imma was more than an employee to me, she was a dear friend and one who I shared many laughs and tears with.  On December 31, 2019 Imma FaceTimed me to tell me that her stomach ache had been diagnosed as colon cancer. Later we found out it was stage four.  I promised Imma that I would be there with her evry step of the way and I glad to say I was.

With that said, I'm raising money for critical cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering—where new discoveries are revolutionizing how cancer is diagnosed and treated. Join me in making a difference by donating today!

I am also raising money to post Imma's name on the MSK digital wall at main campus.  Imma loved her job and worked hard for the patients here at MSK and I think this would be a wonderful way to keep her spirit here in the halls of MSK.
