Our father, Mohammad, was diagnosed with cancer on April 25, 2020 while traveling overseas. It was not possible to fly him back to the US, so through the critical health center at my work, we were introduced to Maria Granados, a senior care advisor at MSK. Maria helped us bring my father under the virtual care of Dr. Armin Shahrokni, a leading geriatrician and oncologist at MSK. Dr. Sharhrokni provided all the information we needed and was a great help. He recommended the best available treatment plans we needed to work with my father's medical team overseas. 

Our father was the strongest man we have known but unfortunately, he could not win his fight against cancer. To cherish his legacy we decided to join the war against cancer with the goal to stop these sad stories of loss. We are raising money for critical cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering—where new discoveries are revolutionizing how cancer is diagnosed and treated.
