In Memory of...
The donation you make will honor Susan Koestler and benefit those who cared for her during her stays at MSK. With a larger than life, outgoing and warm personality, she always put family and friends first. Her family and friends loved her dearly and miss her terribly. Living life to its fullest, she was a teacher, gourmet cook, travel enthusiast, and patron of the arts. Her philanthropy included fundraising for the Stephen Wise Free Synagogue and teaching for the Reading Reform Foundation (where she helped teach hundreds, if not thousands, of public school children in the South Bronx, northern Manhattan and Brooklyn to read through the use of phonics). She also served as a docent for the Central Park Zoo and Museum of Natural History.
Without exception, the doctors, nurses, aides and other staff of MSK are extremely kind, caring, compasionate and patient. It is like no other hospital. They made the last seven weeks of Susan's life bearable, and should be recognized. Your donation will benefit these incredible men and women.
