In Memory of Andrea Corey
Dear Friends,
The Corey/Miller Family strongly supports critical Melanoma cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering—where new discoveries are revolutionizing how cancer is diagnosed and treated. Join us in making a difference by donating today!
On October 3rd, 2020, Andrea Corey was diagnosed with Stage IV Melanoma. Six weeks later, on November 15, 2020, Andrea passed. While currently Melanoma has a poor 5-year survival rate of 15-20%, MSK is at the forefront of immunotherapy, including clinical trials and research. While Andrea was only able to receive one treatment, increased research funds will allow Melanoma patients to receive cutting edge treatments, and will allow earlier diganosis, leading to more successful outcomes.
