In Memory of Khana Murakhovsky
In the morning of November 20, 2020 our beloved great-grandmother, grandmother, mother, and wife, Khana Murakhovsky has passed away. She was 91 years old. Khana loved life and lived it to the fullest. Her optimism, sense of humor, and perserverence were infectious. After immigrating to the US in '95 she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She put up quite a fight and showed who the boss was. Khana was always active in the community and philanthropic events, especially when it came to fighting cancer and supporting cancer research. In honor of Khana, a breast cancer survivor herself, our family is raising money for critical cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering—where new discoveries are revolutionizing how cancer is diagnosed and treated.
