Irwin Griggs was a devoted husband, father & grandfather.  His biggest joy was spending time with his family.  Unfortunately, Irwin was diagnosed with myelofibrosis which then became AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia). There is no doubt that the dedicated and caring team at MSK not only extended Irwin's life after his diagnosis - but improved the quality of his life as well.  The team of medical professionals carefully monitored Irwin's condition - modifying his medication on almost a daily basis.  His family will forever be indebted to the people at MSK for all their efforts.  Their compassionate care both during Irwin's treatments and through his last days will not be forgotten.
