I’m taking on the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon with Fred’s Team—which means a lot of miles, a lot of training… and a lot of motivation from all of you

This cause is especially personal to me because I’m part of the Neuro-Oncology Clinical Trials team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. As a clinical trials nurse, I get to see firsthand how powerful research can be. It brings real hope to patients and families and helps people live longer, fuller lives. At the same time, I also see how much more work we still need to do—especially in neuro-oncology, where many patients are facing incredibly tough diagnoses like Glioblastoma.

So yes, I’ll be running 26.2 miles… but it’s really about something much bigger than the race. Every mile is for the patients I care for and the research that can change what’s possible for them.
